PLEASE listen to janelle monae and not just dirty computer. dirty computer is a fucking masterpiece but listen to some of her other stuff like the archandroid and the electric lady and her eps because there are so many hidden gems and she is such a talented and diverse artist. like i doubt there’s a single genre she couldn’t master, and you name it, she’s probably done it in some way. from hip hop to rock to blues and soul to power ballads to bubblegum pop and straight up orchestral suites and everything in between she can do it ALL do yourself a favour and listen to janelle
